You get the road trip. We take the driving, the weather and the paperwork off your hands.
Driving on the left
New Zealand drives on the left. If you are used to driving on the right, winding unfamiliar roads take real adjustment. We drive, so you don't have to.
Places in New Zealand are far apart. Christchurch to Milford Sound alone is about 760 km each way, roughly 9.5 hours at the wheel without stops, and a full road trip can add up to around 2,000 km. On holiday, you shouldn't have to deal with the driving fatigue.
Weather that changes fast
Wind gusts, snow, ice and road closures can change a day in minutes. Every day has a backup, and we adjust the plan instead of cancelling it.
Rental rules and costs
Campervan and rental companies restrict certain roads, and the rules differ between them. Fuel, road user charges, tolls and parking are all included, so there are no surprises.
Not a big tour bus
Groups of 2 to 6, no rushed schedule, and quiet local places instead of the usual tourist stops.
